Scandinavian media consultancy sets up London office
Mediability, the Scandinavian media consultancy, has set up its London office to offer services globally
Mediability has set up its London office which will be headed by a former Vizrt executive. Mediability is a Scandinavian media consultancy and reseller. Rex Jenkins is a former Vizrt UK managing director who will run the media consultancy’s office in London.
The London office of the firm will be branded Mediability Global which will provide services globally. It will serve clients in Europe and the Middle East. The firm’s consultancy services will help clients across Europe and the Middle East prepare and future-proof workflows in a rapidly-changing media landscape. Mediability is a well-known Scandinavian firm which specialises in consultancy services regarding IP (it assists businesses on and deploying IP), cloud and video streaming workflows. It is known to provide services to a variety of media and broadcast clients.
Mediability’s CEO Håvard Myklebust said that the company is in high demand across the world due to its expertise in successfully delivering IP-based workflows as an increasing number of media organistions all over the world are switching over to IP-based workflows. Myklebust said that London is the obvious choice for locating its new office as the city is a key media hub and offers a vast pool of technical talent. Regarding the appointment of Rex Jenkins to spearhead the Scandinavian media consultancy’s London business, Myklebust said that Rex is the perfect person to head Mediability Global in London.
Rex said that the service provided by Mediability is very different from those provided by traditional systems integrators who are potential collaborative partners for the company. Rex said that Mediability works closely with customers and systems integrators to interpret their needs in-depth. He said that the company makes sure that its customers understand technology in a better way so that they are able to manage technology themselves and manage new workflows on their own.
